BRANHAM, William Marion, Bill
(1909-1966)
   REVIVALIST preacher who popularized PENTECOSTALISM and "healing" ministries in America. His crusades developed into "prophetic" events which led him to see himself as a PROPHET in his later years. His influence is important in shaping the CHARISMATIC MOVEMENT of the 1980s.
