DEAD SEA SCROLLS

DEAD SEA SCROLLS
a collection of early manuscripts of the HEBREW BIBLE discovered in a cave in 1948 near the Dead Sea. In addition to Biblical texts, the scrolls contain other documents relating to the RITUALS and discipline of an unnamed religious SECT often identified as ESSENES.
