FIVE PILLARS OF ISLAM
   the fundamental duties of a devout MUSLIM. These are
   1) confession of the FAITH by reciting the phrase "There is no GOD but ALLAH and MUHAMMAD is His PROPHET;"
   2) PRAYER five times a day at dawn, noon, mid-afternoon, evening and night;
   3) FASTING during the month of RAMADAN;
   4) ZAKT or almsgiving; and (5) the AJJ a pilgrimage to MECCA at least once in one's lifetime.
