GORE, Charles
(1853-1932)
   English ANGLO-CATHOLIC theologian, BISHOP of Oxford and one of the founders of the ANGLICAN MONASTIC Order THE COMMUNITY OF THE RESURRECTION. He was the editor of the controversial book Lux Mundi (1889) and author of numerous works including The Reconstruction of Belief (1924).
